The Board is elected every year, and the active participation of everyone is invited. Information about elections will be posted to the main mailing list.
We present a speaker at each meeting.If you are interested in speaking, contact Joe Fobert.
For presentations by vendors (e.g. talks that primarily discuss a particular product), we charge $400 to cover our meeting costs. This charge is waived for Gold sponsors. It is also waived for non-product talks.
We have a sponsorship program for individuals and corporations interested in promoting Java in the Triangle area.
We offer regular sponsorship in two levels:
Silver Sponsor - $1000/year
Gold Sponsor - $3000/year
Benefits of regular sponsorship:
Our website will display Sponsors' logos.
Sponsors are announced at JUG meetings, and representatives of Sponsors will be introduced at JUG meetings, if requested.
Representatives of Silver and Gold Sponsors may give three minute presentations at JUG meetings.
Gold sponsors may give the main presentation in one JUG meeting, as scheduled with our Speakers Coordinator.
Sponsors get JUG Memberships for a number of individuals.
We also offer single meeting pizza sponsorship. Single meeting sponsors supply the pizza, drink, and other snacks for a meeting. In exchange they are publicly recognized at that meeting and they can make a five minute presentation. Contact Chris Brown to learn how.
